Jeff Moore

Jeff Moore

Jeff has focused on building successful startup companies for the past 20 years through his expertise in structuring strategic business alliances, attracting early stage funding and establishing effective business infrastructure. He co-founded and was COO of Engi-Mat, a provider of engineered nanomaterials, where he remains on the Board of Directors. Jeff also served in a variety of executive roles at Virent (including COO and CFO), with responsibility spanning business development (including support of strategic relationships with Shell, Cargill, Honda, Toray and Coke), finance, and corporate operations prior to the company’s acquisition by Tesoro. He began his career as corporate counsel for IBM. He earned a BS in Accounting from Miami of Ohio and a JD from Ohio State College of Law.

David Kervin

David is an award-winning public-sector CXO, leading businesses from startup stage to over 2000 employees in size in the roles of CEO, COO, Chief Strategy Officer, President, General Manager, and EVP Business Development. He also has significant experience in buy-side private equity and venture capital, having worked in diligence, deal flow, and Board of Director capacities with a variety of PE and VC organizations. David serves on multiple advisory boards of advanced technology and stealth tech startups and is a founding and recurring lead mentor for the Techstars Starburst Space VC Accelerator, focused on the next generation of commercial outer space technologies. David has a passion for national security-related advanced technology, borne from his time with the US Intelligence Community and his career within the US Marine Corps.

David Kervin Carie Lemack

Carie Lemack

An experienced innovator skilled in conceiving and building ideas and products into globally-recognized entities, Carie Lemack has more than two decades of experience in entrepreneurial endeavors, organizational management, product development, advocacy and security policy. Today she serves as a mentor to and investor in startups, focused on helping early stage aerospace companies scale and raise funds, as well as with their pricing strategy, storytelling, leadership and team growth. Most recently she was the co-founder and CEO of DreamUp, where she spearheaded programs, products and partnerships to inspire the next generation of innovators and explorers.

Michael Hurley

Michael served 25 years in CIA where he managed CIA personnel in conflict areas around the world. Following the 9/11 attacks, he led CIA teams in Afghanistan in the hunt for Osama bin Laden. He was a Team Leader and Senior Counsel on the 9/11 Commission and co-authored its national-bestselling, final report. He served twice on the National Security Council staff at the White House as an adviser to the President and advised the Secretary of State on counterterrorism. He was a key member on a presidentially-commissioned team on the Middle East conflict. He currently advises and mentors several of the top technology companies in the United States. Michael is an attorney.
